Avoid the Real Estate Rhetoric Rut
August 18, 2006 by Verl WorkmanThis is a blog about nothing."? Literally nothing."? I ran across"?a website today that helps companies create an"?instant article based solely on their company name."? It's a corporate gibberish generator that"?creates a prospectus-length article so full of"?jargon"?it essentially says nothing."? Sadly, some"?of it makes sense and I am pretty sure I've"?seen"?it in actual"?press releases over last several years.
Just something fun for a Friday afternoon -- click here
But,"?before you click, this is a good reminder to go back through your website and read what you've posted."? Make sure it still makes sense and modify what can be improved, both the text and graphics."? It's easy to forget to review your website(s) regularly, but it's critical since the immediacy of the Internet allows you to identify and address the latest consumer needs before your competition does."?
After all, you never want your marketing material (online or offline) to look or sound like real estate rhetoric -- people do business with people.
