Success Habit #7:"? Get rid of the negatives!

Get rid of the negative thinking about yourself -- that "stinking thinking"!"""" The kind of thinking that says, "Who am I kidding, I could never do that'"? For sure, if you think you can't, you won't!"? So, get rid of that kind of thinking."? Focus on the positive, the good things in life and about yourself."? Rid yourself of your own self-sabotaging actions."? Determine to accept yourself for who you are,"? knowing that you are working on improving yourself in areas that need improvement!"? Peter McWilliams is quoted as saying, "Acceptance is such an important commodity, some have called it the first law of personal growth.""? To grow and improve, write positive affirmations beginning with "I am""'"? Use powerful, positive self-talk. "?And, do not spend time with those who put you down or try to limit your growth."? Spend your time with positive people."? Associate with successful people and listen to their positive talk."? Read positive books and focus your mind on positive things."? Get rid of the negatives!

"?

Success Habit #8:"? No man is an island!"? Surround yourself with a wonderful team.

We all have different skills, abilities, and talents."? Find people who are resources for you ' people who are skilled in areas where you are not so skilled."? Make certain that you have the right hands for the job!"?

"?

I once received an e-mail that I really like regarding putting things in the right hands:

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6."? A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth 19 million."? It depends on whose hands it's in.
A golf club is useless in my hands."? A golf club in Tiger Wood's hands is multi-major golf championships."? It depends on whose hands it's in.
A rod in my hands might keep away a growling dog."? A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea."? It depends on whose hands it's in.

Don't forget to surround yourself with a wonderful team."? Capable, caring supportive hands can exponentially increase your productivity and success.

"?

Success Habit #9:"? Take one day at a time!" easier said than done, right?

We can write and prioritize our "to-do" list, we can keep dates on a calendar, we can schedule our events and appointments, but life refuses to be scheduled."? Unexpected things happen."? Expect the unexpected."? The only thing certain is uncertainty."? A degree of flexibility is necessary to deal with the unexpected, daily interruptions and inconveniences that come along."? Determine that these things must be dealt with, re-prioritize, and move on.

"?

Success Habit #10:"? Don't worry, be happy!

Refuse to believe that life's circumstances determine your fate or destiny."? Quit trying to control everything!"? It is human to try to control, but it is impossible to be in control of things all the time."? Instead, ask God to be the designer of your plan and the navigator of your ship."? Allow Him to direct and guide."? In my opinion, this is the most important success habit."? It is such a relief to turn over that control ' to know that the one who knows best is in charge."? If God is the planner and you are the worker, your anxiety and worry will be reduced and you will remain confident and content."?

"?

We began this series with a quote from Milton Berle. "I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star."? I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might-have-been has never been, but a has-been was once an are.""? How true."? What a profound statement that embodies attitude, choice, and a journey towards success."? The only real failure that exists, is the failure to try.

"?

Choices, attitude, planning, faith, passion, action" all wrapped around success.' Decide!"? Go for it!"? Stretch yourself!"? Get out there and reach for it!"? Give it your all."? I believe 97% of what we worry about never happens, 97% of our success is not the circumstances that happen to us, but what we choose to do with those circumstances, 97% of our success is not because of money, not because of our brains."? 97% of our success is because of our attitude ' how we deal with people, how we deal with life."? 97% of your success comes from right there, in your heart.
