The Next Real Estate Apprentice
August 15, 2006 by Kendra Shearer
Season IV of the Real Estate Apprentice has been completed, and the Foundation is in the process of announcing it's fourth grand prize winner! This season, over 2,000 rookie agents applied and all will receive at least $250 worth of products and services from the sponsors of the grant. You can watch this event unfold on the Foundations website: www.realestateapprentice.com, or, on www.rismedia.com website. During the open period, the applications are submitted, reviewed and the top 30 contestants are then sent to a panel of judges. From there, the top 10 are announced, and then, the grand prize winner. As the first winner of the apprentice grant, I can tell you it is an exciting time! Since the first season, the grant has grown to over $1 million in awards each year.
The basis of the grant is to identify the skills, personality and tools needed to succeed in an industry in which over 80% of agents fail during the first two years. The key focus is on personal marketing, business development, and technology, with an intense amount of resources focused on professional continuing education.
If you have the time, view the video featured on the Foundation's website: you will see me interviewed and will understand the impact of the grant on a new agents career.
Encourage new agents to enroll during Season V: the current enrollment period is from July 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006.
A special thanks to the executives who manage the grant, the sponsors who make this grant possible, and to the judges who take the time to select the next grand prize winner! Best wishes to everyone, and have a great week,
Kendra
