"Others who are selling you something will always tell you, "You can afford to buy it!" and they are more than ready to show you how! You, the responsible American, have to decide, 'Can I afford to own it.'" As we all study the rise in mortgage fraud, steady foreclosure rise and an ebbing in property valuations may I suggest we revisit this old, no longer outdated financial wisdom from past generations who made the America we enjoy. Let's each ask ourself, "Can I afford to own what I'm buying?"
