From Good to Below Average
March 10, 2007 by Allen WrightHow does an agent in the business for 5 years go from 10 deals to 13, to 18 to 6"?? Easy, they fail to build any systems during the early years.
Is this entirely the fault of the agent"?? No, were was the managing broker during this time"?? Real estate is a business that requires business skills and business systems."? A major flaw in many companies during a boom is that they overlook the need for business systems."?
As hard as it is sometimes, a managing broker needs to set rules about setting up and following business systems."? All booms come to an end, and those that were given the gift of getting in this business during the good times should have been pushed to automate and add business systems so they will be the survivors during the shake-out.
What surprised me the most is that this story is not new, I am hearing it every few days.
