My October and November staging classes have been jam packed with agents eager to explore every option available to them.  It seems they’ll try anything that might reverse the momentum of the ever growing mound of unsold homes.  Yes, it’s clear, the pendulum has swung, and it is important to remember that the pendulum will swing again.  In the meantime, those agents should rest assured that they’re in the right place; the classroom, educating and empowering themselves.  Looking for any additional ways to add extra value to the services they offer their clients.  Their timing is perfect, they’re taking advantage of the lull in sales to continue their education and add to their never ending life process of learning.

I commend RealtyU who have launched, with great success, an online course teaching home staging. www.stagingspecialist.com I applaud First American Title www.firstam.com in Snohomish Washington for making the conscious decision to put their energy and attention towards training and education.  Through their hard work and commitment we are able to offer our continuing education classes on The Power of Staging.  Let every agent make it their business to have their listings outshine those of the competition. Ensure that your homes show as well on paper as they do on the computer screen. Learn how to use your digital camera well.  It is a vital tool of the trade. No amount of anguish and nail biting will reverse the market right now.  To quote a student this week, “We’re just going to sit this out”.  She’s been in real estate for many years and is living proof that there’s life after a slump.   In an ever changing world from an industry that is in a constant state of flux lets make sure we remain open to new experiences and innovative ideas.
